Aespa, which reflects SM’s unique worldview and a mixture of various genres, debuted in 2020 with the single ‘Black Mamba’. The group name ‘aespa‘ is a combination of the words ‘æ’ and ‘aspect’, inspired by ‘Avatar X Experience’, and has a unique concept of experiencing a new world by meeting your own avatar, ‘ae’.
Through hit songs such as ‘Next Level’, ‘Savage’, ‘Spicy’, and ‘Drama’, they showcased a strong SMP (SM Music Performance) style and showed overwhelming performances among girl groups of the same generation. As you all know, let’s introduce each member of aespa with their own unique personalities!
Karina
Real name: Yu Ji-min
