Ruka is from Nagasaki Prefecture, Japan, and is the oldest member of BABYMONSTER. Ruka debuted on March 26, 2017 as a member of the Japanese idol group SHIbu3 Project’s unit group Blue Class.
After passing YG Entertainment’s Japanese audition in 2018, she worked as a trainee for 6 years and was finally confirmed as a member of BABYMONSTER after placing 2nd in YG’s survival program ‘Last Evaluation’.
Luka is from Japan, but she can write rap lyrics in Korean, and with 13 years of dancing experience, she is the member who has danced the longest in the group. Based on this experience, Luka has stable and excellent dancing skills, and producer Yang Hyun-suk actually mentioned that “he never pointed out any shortcomings in dancing.”

Pharita is from Lyon, Thailand, and is the second Thai trainee to come out of YG Entertainment after Lisa of Blackpink. Yang Hyun-suk described her visuals as “something you would only see in a Disney cartoon.”
Parita’s outstanding beauty is also a hot topic among fans, as she was evaluated as ‘beautiful’. In February 2020, Parita participated in ‘Idol Paradise’ aired in Thailand, but got off before the program aired. Asa (real name: Enami Asa) is from Okinawa Prefecture, Japan. She is a versatile member who shows outstanding talent in both rap and vocals and is the only one who can produce.
She has been dreaming of becoming a singer since she was in the second grade of elementary school, and appeared in her first musical in Japan in 2017.
She passed YG Entertainment’s audition in 2018 and trained for about 6 years. She was eliminated in 7th place in YG’s survival program ‘Last Evaluation’, but was confirmed as a final member of BABYMONSTER with strong support from fans. In particular, she became a hot topic for perfectly covering Eminem’s ‘Godzilla’, which is difficult, in the month-end evaluation.
Asa, who is in the main rapper position with Luca, has the ability to write lyrics only in Korean, and she actually participated in writing and composing the lyrics for BABYMONSTER’s debut song ‘BATTER UP’.
Rami
Real name: Shin Haram

Position: Main vocalist, lead dancer
Height: 172 cm
Rami is from Seoul and is the main vocalist for BABYMONSTER.
Rami started out as a kid model and has appeared in various commercials and worked as a model. After passing YG Entertainment’s audition in 2018 and training for about 6 years, she was confirmed as a member of BABYMONSTER by placing 4th in YG’s survival program ‘Last Evaluation’.
Rami has a unique voice reminiscent of BLACKPINK’s Rosé and Jisoo, and her vocal tone is so attractive and excellent that it has been praised by AKMU’s Lee Su-hyun. She says that she considers BLACKPINK’s Rosé as her role model, and that ‘STAY’ is her favorite song by BLACKPINK.
On November 23, 2023, she changed her stage name from her real name “Haram” to her stage name “Rami”.
Rora
Real name: Lee Dain

Nationality: Korean
Position: Main/Lead Vocal, Dancer
Rora is from Gangneung-si, Gangwon-do and is a vocalist for BABYMONSTER. Rora has experience in the kids’ idol group U.SSO Girl under the name U.ha, and in 2017, she debuted as a member of Kids Planet’s kids’ idol group U.SSO Girl as Yuha and also worked with New Jeans’ Hyein.
The stage name “Laura” was given to her by producer Yang Hyung-seok in the hope that she would grow into a beautiful singer like Aurora. After passing the YG Entertainment audition in 2018 and working as a trainee for about 6 years, she placed 6th in YG’s survival program ‘Last Evaluation’ and was eliminated along with Asa, but with the support of fans, she debuted as a member of BABYMONSTER.
Chiquita
Real name: Riracha Phondechaphiphat

Position: Lead vocalist, lead dancer, sub-rapper, youngest
Chiquita is from Chiang Mai, Thailand, and is a talented member who is in charge of vocals in BABYMONSTER.
Chiquita showed off her amazing talent by passing the trainee course in just 3 months after joining YG Entertainment. After entering YG in 2021 and undergoing a two-year training period, she was confirmed as a member of the team.
Producer Yang Hyun-suk decided to join the team right after watching Chiquita’s first monthly evaluation video. Her stage name ‘Chiquita’ is said to be a nickname for ‘Chica’, which means ‘girl’ in Spanish.
Baby Monster is showing potential as a new girl group introduced by YG after BLACKPINK, with the harmony of each member’s diverse charms and individuality.

Ahyeon
