ENHYPEN 7members
ENHYPEN is a global boy group jointly planned by Big Hit Entertainment (now HYBE) and CJ ENM, and consists of 7 members who were finally selected through the 2020 reality survival program ‘I-LAND’. The members are Jeongwon, Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunwoo, and Niki, and they showcase various music and performances based on their individuality and talent.
ENHYPEN is inspired by the ‘hyphen (-)’ symbol, which means connecting different entities to create new meaning. This includes not only the close connection between the members, but also the connection with fans and the comprehensive goal of connecting cultures around the world.

Jeongwon
Real name: Yang Jeongwon
Date of birth: February 9, 2004

Jeongwon is the leader, main vocalist, and dancer of ENHYPEN, and his artistic talent and leadership play a prominent role in the group.
Originally an aspiring Taekwondo athlete, he turned his attention to the entertainment industry through street casting, and after moving to several agencies, he finally transferred to Belift Lab and realized his dream of debuting by participating in ‘I-LAND’.
Jeongwon, who became a member of ENHYPEN by winning first place through the competition on ‘I-LAND’, was recognized for his qualities as a leader as well as his excellent vocal and dance skills, and he names BTS’ Jungkook and Justin Bieber as his role models.

Heeseung

Heeseung is the all-round center and eldest member of ENHYPEN, and is a member who is loved for his outstanding vocals and dance skills.
He debuted as a member of ENHYPEN on November 30, 2020, and his debut was made through I-LAND, an idol survival program jointly produced by CJ ENM and Big Hit Entertainment.
During the I-LAND entrance test, Zico showed great interest in Heeseung’s voice and praised him, saying, “I think you’re really good at vocalizing these days.”
He has solid vocal skills. He is especially known for bringing out the groovy rhythms of the R&B genre.
As a side note, Lee Hee Seung was a Big Hit Music trainee and worked with Tomorrow X Together, and gained the trust of many people with his outstanding skills and sincerity since his trainee days.

Jay

Jay was born in Seattle, USA, and has dual citizenships of Korea and the United States.
He is fluent in English and Korean. Before debuting with Enhypen, Jay learned various sports and musical instruments, and was especially interested in cooking. His skills, which he learned little by little through his parents and YouTube, are said to be recognized among the members.
Like Jeongwon and Heeseung, he was selected as a member of Enhypen through the idol survival program, I-LAND, and officially debuted on November 30, 2020.
He has shown outstanding skills in all areas of vocals, rap, and dance, and in the I-LAND entrance test, he performed NCT U’s “The Seventh Sense” with Sunghoon, receiving great acclaim.

Sung Hoon is a former figure skater who has an impressive career, including winning a silver medal in the junior division of the 2014 National Figure Skating Championships.
Sung Hoon suffered from severe low vision as a child, which reportedly led to a lack of confidence.
However, through sports activities that he started at the recommendation of his parents, he regained his confidence, and figure skating became a way for Sung Hoon to express himself beyond just a sport.
This experience later made him shine on stage as a member of ENHYPEN.
